Our room was private The staff were very helpful
Too far out of town the shuttle into town was too expensive no bar no restaurant
This was without a doubt the nicest hotel our family have stayed in, we had a lovely relaxing weekend away, and felt that we got to spoil ourselves by staying there.
well you just cant beet the private plunge pool which is nice to after a nice dinner, either a short bus ride away or a goumet home cooked meal in your own room.
An electrician was fixing our dishwasher in our room when we came back to our room from a swim, no warning or no apologies. For a one night stay very inappropriate. Also was dissapointed you advertised 6 pools when really it is 2 long ones, not what we expected :(
The rooms were clean and a good size. Facilities were adequate.
The night lights outside shone through the bedroom wondow all night long. The blinds were not adequate to give the room darkness. There were not enough bikes available for hire.
The quality of the hotel.
The hotel is a distance from food outlets - having a car - which we did - is pretty much essential. The design of our two bedroom appartment was odd. The doors between the two bedrooms were locked and could not be unlocked. As a result we either needed to prop the doors open with bags or take the key with us every time we moved around the appartment. As adult friends travelling together we could manage but if it was parents with children using the apprtaments it would be quite unsatisfactory.
The swim-out room facilities and subtle layout allowing privacy without loss of amenities. Apartment-style rooms allowing self-catering and laundry facilities. Location outside the main town backing onto forest and beach beyond.
Even though they werent used the swimming pool so closefrom the back door of hotel room.
Very poor broken shower and king beds are 2 single beds pushed together no mentioning of this on website as I would not book this.
Spa, pool and penty of cuterly which is good to see.
The sliding door to the spa would not LOCK, security a small risk.
Very good value for money. Clean and spacious. Pool area was great. BBQ facilities with a few kitchen appliances (toaster, kettle, m/wave). Great for people without kitchens in rooms.Would stay there again
The room was spacious and well appointed and as we expected. The staff were very helpful and the surrounds were tranquil as was the swimout room we were upgraded to.
There was no onsite restaurant to eat at and it was a little way out of Port Douglas if you did not have a car.
enjoyed the locality being away from the buzz of people as not close to busy streets. poolside units. clean bbq area
....a couple of areas in kitchen and bathroom not clean!!!!
Friendly reception staff; size of the rooms and the facilities provided.
Like it all; however parts of outr accommodation is starting to look a little tired. Especially the bedroom area and the adjacent office part.
The apartment was spacious with the access to the pool being a plus. Location was pleasing.
No tissues in the bathroom and noisy air conditioning motor from the upstairs unit being located right outside our bedroom window.
Took a trip there looking for a mid range budget stay. It was rather satisfying and the hotel is certainly not lacking in amenities The staff were indeed friendly but not particularly helpful.
The beds were not the most comfortable though and through our 3 nights at the hotel, not once was our room made up. More could be done to educate the staff on helping guests with their holiday itenary.
